[Review] Jynxbox Android HD

If you read my previous review of the Jynxbox Mini and liked what you saw i now present you with the Big Brother of Jynxbox Mini:
-Lo and behold, The Jynxbox Android HD.

Adam Outler over at XDA Develeoper TV did an unboxing and teardown of this device and we will make a more traditional review here.

So what does this little box hold then ?

This device is by far one of the most interesting Non-phone or Non-tablet Android units right now.

Looking at the specs and capabilities, the Jynxbox Android HD should make any Apple TV fanboy distracted for a reason.
Maybe even jealous.

The Jynxbox Android HD is powered by Android 4.0.4

Installed on the device you get  pretty much the same setup as in the Jynxbox Mini.

App backup, app installer for sideloading apps, Android Stock Browser, Cache cleaner, Calendar, Calculator, Clock, Facebook, File manager, Global News reader, Google Local, Google Maps, Media Center and XBMC of course just to mention a few.
And i like the approach with the installed apps, they are not installed as "system apps" so you are free to delete whichever you like simply by uninstalling apps via System settings.

Potential is the keyword here.

Named "Network media streamer" it surely fills that task with honors.

The Jynxbox has made its entrance in the developing communities with quite a notable impact in a relatively short time.
Just do a search for "Jynxbox Android HD " with Google and you will see what i mean.

Amlogic as a chip manufacturer on the Jynxbox is propably one of the door-openers into the Android and Linux developing communities.

Open source drivers for the chipset enables anyone with developer skills or desires to start hacking .

2013 has begun and Jynxbox propably will be on quite a few minds for quite some time after this year too.

We will propably see quite a lot of interesting developing happening for this device. A lot of people will use these devices for quite some time i believe.
